Lance – Director, Facilitator & Club Mentor
Lance may only be 21years old, but his achievements are way beyond his years. He is not only a Workshop Facilitator and Club Mentor, he took on the directorship of Techspace Learning and the Club in 2024 when our founder had to step down for personal reasons. He has completed a Bachelor of Information Technology (Network & Cybersecurity Systems) and is now looking to start some post-graduate studies.

Heath – Facilitator & Club Mentor
Heath is an original member of the club as his father is the founder of the original Hallett Cove Robotics Club. Now at age 24, he is a Workshop Facilitator and Club Mentor and is currently studying a double degree in Bachelor of Computer Science & Robotics Engineering with Honours—which he is expected to finish halfway through next year.

Hugh – Facilitator & Club Mentor
Hugh is a much loved Workshop Facilitator and Club Mentor. A lecturer at the University of South Australia, Hugh holds double degrees in Software Engineering and Electronics Engineering, along with a PhD in Engineering Education.

Noah – Upcoming Facilitator & Club Mentor
Noah is an upcoming Facilitator and respected Club Mentor, and student at University of Adelaide. At 20 years old, he is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours and Computer Science.

Kien – Workshop Assistant & Club Mentor
Kien, now 19, started his robotics journey with a Techspace introductory workshop and he was hooked! His interest continued to grow when he attended all the workshops on offer and creating his own projects at the club. He now is an assistant at workshops, a regular volunteer at science exhibits and mentors at the club when his schedule allows. Kien is currently studying double degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Honours), with a Bachelor of Computer Science.

Sebastian – Upcoming Facilitator & Club Mentor
Sebastian is 16 years old and is an upcoming workshop facilitator . He has been with the club since he was 9 years old and is a valued Club Mentor. He loves hanging out at the club, coding and building new projects.

Jayden – Workshop Assistant & Club Mentor
Jayden is a remarkable young man who achieved so much in his 22 years. He is a workshop assistant and Club Mentor. He completed a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honors in Geology and is he soon to begin his PhD. With a difficult start in life, he overcome a challenging upbringing and family life to not only completing high school and a university degree, he also ran for local council, is decision maker within the Mars Society and will be starting his PhD later this year.

Riley – Workshop Assistant
Riley learnt how to code the Arduino by attending Online Courses with Techspace Learning during the lockdown times and due to him living in a regional area. He quickly adopted the technology and will assist in workshops when they are offered in his region. He is also a regular volunteer at Science Show exhibits such as Science Alive and the Royal Adelaide Show. An article was written about him in 2022 and you can read his story here…
