Our Club

Our Robotics Club

The Adelaide City Robotics Club meets every Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm to 4pm , in the basement at the WEA Learning Centre, 223 Angas Street, Adelaide. $20 per session.
During our club sessions members can either engage in building their own individual projects using the facilities available in our purpose-built room and receive support or mentoring if required. There are also options to collectively explore the creation of new projects which can be used in future science displays or just for fun!
It is a safe and inclusive place for like minds to get together to share experiences and ideas. Bookings are not required.
If you would like to make a small donation (between $10 – $100) towards our club and organisation, we would very much appreciate your generosity. You can do this here…

Line Following Competition

We are thrilled to announce the winners of our first competition of the year, where club members were challenged to design and build innovative vehicles capable of autonomously navigating a track. This competition was all about creativity, problem-solving, and friendly rivalry.
Everyone who participated had a fantastic time and we surely will run more competitions such as this throughout the year.
While everyone who participated was a winner, the two category Winners are Isaac for his Lego-based robot and Hugh, in the open division, where his nearly antique bot sped through the track at lightening speed!
Well done to everyone who worked hard on their bots and we hope to demonstrate some of these at our next Science Display event, Science Alive.

We are grateful for sponsors such as Daryl Designs who can see we value our club brings to its members in both mentoring and supporting the engineers and coders of the future.
Thank you Daryl for supporting us in continuing our  high quality teaching and mentoring programs. Our latest article explains why Daryl has been keen to support our club and “keep our robotics dream alive!”
