Arduino Introductory Workshop with ArduBlock
Build your first robotics project in just one hour!
This introductory session is the perfect way to dive into robotics using the Arduino microcontroller and easy-to-learn block coding. Whether you’re a total beginner or just curious about coding, this hands-on experience will have you exploring the exciting world of robotics in no time.
No prior experience needed. Two finger typing and mouse skills is all that is required. Recommended age 8+.
For participants under 12, an adult must accompany them. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children, at no extra cost.

Arduino Introductory Workshop with C++
This one hour session provides an opportunity to experience the fun you can have with robotics using the Arduino microcontroller and C++ style of coding. This session is best suited to those who want to learn robotics and are proficient in typing. Similar to coding with Python, this session gives an opportunity to try something different and experience the satisfaction of building and coding your first robotics project.
Absolutely no previous experience in coding required. Recommended age 12+.

ArduBlock Arduino Fundamentals B Intensive - 6 sessions across 2wks
This foundational Course is aimed at participants who may have little to no experience in microcontroller programming. The aim of this course is to empower participants with enough knowledge to make their own robotics projects using block-coding and the Arduino microcontroller.
In each session we walk you through building and coding a new project, building the fundamental knowledge a little more each week. Participants have so much fun with these projects, they rarely realise they are learning. Recommended age 8+.

C++ Arduino Fundamentals B Intensive - 6 sessions across 2wks
This foundational course shows participants how to program the Arduino using the native C-based language of the Arduino IDE. Fundamental digital theory is included in the course. This is a good starting point for those who have an interest in robotics and who have better typing skills. Recommended age 12+.
In each session we walk you through building and coding a new project, building the fundamental knowledge a little more each session. Participants have so much fun with these projects, they rarely realise they are learning.

Soldering Workshop - Build an InfraRed Signal Detector
This 90 minute workshop will teach the basics of soldering as participants put together an InfraRed Signal Detector that they will be able to take away with them at the end of the session.
No previous soldering experience required.
Participants under 12 are asked to be accompanied by an adult who is encouraged to participate with their children at no additional cost. Recommended age 10+.

Arduino Courses - Term 4 - Bookings now open
Our engaging hands-on robotics courses are activity based learning, giving participants the skills and practice they need to be able to engineer and code their own robotic projects.
Those under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult at no extra charge. Anyone with basic keyboard and mouse skills will be able to follow along with our courses. Recommended age 8+ for the best learning experience.

C++ Arduino Advanced A - 6 Wk Course
This advanced course delves into sophisticated techniques, modules, and devices available for the Arduino platform. Participants will deepen their expertise and gain the confidence to design and build almost any robotics project they can imagine. A solid understanding of Arduino programming is required, making this course ideal for those who have completed our Intermediate courses or are active members of the Adelaide City Robotics Club.
